Camelia

The camellia, an excellent plant grown on the shores of Lake Maggiore, has very ancient origins. It is a plant characterized by many colors and floral shapes, available in different sizes.

Camelia japonica

Plant of the theaceae family, native to the southern areas of China and Japan, it has shiny and persistent foliage, flowering begins from early March to April. The camellia prefers soil rich in humus, but well drained.

Camelia sasanqua

Plant native to southern Japan, it has shiny and persistent foliage, flowering begins from October to January. Sasanqua forms beautiful flowering hedges in periods where blooms are not abundant.
